Experience the Power of Precision Bass
The Perlisten Audio D12s Subwoofer combines advanced technology with a compact design, delivering powerful and precise bass performance for discerning audiophiles.
THX Dominus Certification
Despite its compact size, the D12s achieves THX Dominus certification when used in pairs, meeting the highest standards for large-room audio performance and ensuring immersive, distortion-free bass reproduction.
The D12s is equipped with a 1.5kW RMS amplifier, managed by a 48-bit DSP engine and a 32-bit ARM Cortex M4 processor. This configuration allows for microsecond-level adjustments, ensuring precise and accurate sound reproduction. Users can control advanced settings via a 2.4-inch LCD color touchscreen or through dedicated iOS and Android applications.
Featuring a 12-inch (300mm) carbon fiber composite diaphragm capable of 30mm linear excursion, the D12s incorporates multiple aluminum shorting rings, a robust magnet system, multi-layer Nomex spiders, and lightweight aluminum voice coil wire. These components are optimized through proprietary nonlinear modeling techniques and refined with Klippel laser measurements to ensure superior real-world performance.
The subwoofer offers both balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs and outputs, along with a 10-band parametric EQ featuring three user presets. Additional customization options include adjustable low-pass filters, variable phase control from 0 to 270, and selectable polarity settings, allowing seamless integration into diverse audio setups.
Employing an acoustic suspension (sealed) design, the D12s delivers tight and accurate bass reproduction. Its frequency response varies based on EQ settings, with the THX EQ mode ranging from 20Hz to 289Hz (-6dB) and extending down to 16Hz (-10dB), ensuring deep bass extension suitable for various room sizes and listening preferences.
Measuring 448mm x 420mm x 450mm (HxWxD) and weighing 41.0 kg, the D12s boasts a piano black finish that complements any dcor. Its compact dimensions allow for flexible placement without compromising on performance, making it a versatile addition to any audio system.
